ACEEE: Encouraging Home Upgrades and Meeting Climate Goals Through Remote Assessments

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to an increase in remote home energy assessments. Expanded rapidly to substitute for in-person assessments until energy assessors could go back into homes, remote assessments have proved useful in multiple ways. Not only do they help encourage upgrades, but they are also important for mitigating climate change, as they allow assessors to reach more customers quickly and inexpensively.
