Wisconsin’s Clean Energy Supply Chain Employs 6,800

Five hundred Wisconsin companies engaged in the solar and wind industry supply chains are identified in Wisconsin Clean Energy Supply Chain, a report by the Environmental Law and Policy Center (ELPC) February 2015. There are 6,800 Wisconsinites employed in those industries. Clean energy jobs are in manufacturing, financing, designing, engineering, installing and maintaining renewable energy projects here and across the region. The report identified 316 companies involved in Wisconsin’s solar energy supply chain and more than 230 companies involved in its wind power supply chain. ELPC profiles the companies and provides maps with their locations across the state. This report is one of a series for 5 Midwest states.
