Sisters Support Stewardship Mission

The School Sisters of St. Francis invested in new efficiency equipment in the renovation of Milwaukee’s Sacred Heart Sanitarium Complex into 77 apartments for retired nuns.  Not only will the property’s overall energy costs be reduced, but in conserving energy they will meet the congregation’s mission of stewardship.  The Sisters worked with a mechanical contractor and Focus on Energy to review the building’s heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems.  Focus on Energy provided more than $68,000 in incentives that helped with the costs of the energy upgrades in the $9 million project.  For more information: JSSFocus On Energy
