Madison Gas & Electric Engages Community

With the utility industry undergoing major changes and a highly involved citizenry, MG&E has been engaging their customers to help shape their direction as an energy company.  Having conducted hundreds of interviews and focus groups, MG&E hosted a community energy workshop in April with 200 leaders well chosen to reflect the diversity of the area in perspectives, racially and culturally. Participants were facilitated to address energy sources and goals, new products and services and community engagement. Input will be used to start filling in the details of MGE’s energy 2030 framework. For more information, visit Energy 2030.
