Sunflower II – Wisconsin’s Largest Solar Project

Sunflower II, a 2.34 megawatt utility scale solar array by Dairyland Power in the Town of Warren, will be the largest solar project in Wisconsin. It is made up of 131 solar trackers. It will be completed December 2016 and provide electricity to St. Croix Electric Cooperative customers through the grid. It is not set up as a solar garden like the Sunflower I project of 2014 that community members subscribed to. newrichmond-news and EOW news Aug 2014
