The Director of online programs with UW-Madison Engineering Professional Development undertook a bike trip to do research and promote #BikeTheWind, raising awareness of wind energy in Wisconsin and the Upper Midwest. On October 1, 2017, others can spend one day visiting renewable energy installations by Riding with RENEW- a bike tour of renewable energy projects in northwest Dane County. The 22-mile bicycle tour will begin in Middleton, Wisconsin and include stops at Sustainable Engineering Group’s zero net energy office building, Gundersen Health System and Dane County’s biodigester, MG&E’s shared solar project, Epic’s Galactic Wind Farm, and PDQ Middleton solar.
