The Sauk County Board voted to enter into a third party solar financing agreement with Eagle Point Solar for two solar arrays: a $792,000 roof-mounted system on its Baraboo law enforcement facility and a $395,000 ground-mounted system on its nursing home. The county has received $131,301 in state grants for the solar projects. Sauk County then will purchase electricity from Eagle Point Solar at a rate cheaper than from the utility.
