M-WERC Opens Madison Office on UW Campus

The Milwaukee-based Midwest Energy Research Consortium (M-WERC) opened a new office at the Grainger Institute for Engineering on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus to strengthen and expand collaboration. They hired Dan Ebert as manager, the former PSC-W chair and senior vice president of government affairs at WPPI Energy.

M-WERC was founded in 2009 to drive cutting-edge research and technology development by connecting the Midwest Region’s energy, power, and controls industry with academic, economic development, and government and non-government organizations. M-WERC also administers the WERCBench Labs program, which connects companies and entrepreneurs with access to technology through technical colleges and universities to help build innovative energy products and successful businesses. M-WERCBizTimes
