PACE Wisconsin Expands to 29 Counties

PACE Wisconsin just expanded to Rusk and Waukesha Counties bringing the total adoptions to 29 counties. PACE now covers 60% of the state’s population, or 70% if Milwaukee, which has its own PACE program, is included.

PACE, property assessed clean energy, is a way for counties to help developers and building owners implement clean energy and water conserving building solutions. Local lenders finance 100% of upgrades for commercial energy efficiency, solar, and water conservation through a special municipal charge. There are nine lenders that bring over $100 million to fund PACE projects ranging from $75,000 to $20 million. More than 30 energy projects are in the pipeline and a few have started. PACE Wisconsin
