Milwaukee High Schooler Lands Solar Job

When his Milwaukee charter school, Escuela Verde, was able to install a solar PV system with a grant from RENEW’s Solar for Good program, senior Daniel Rodriguez used the opportunity to scale-up a smaller solar-focused senior thesis project he was planning. Encouraged by Daniel’s interest in sustainable architecture and previous solar installation coursework, Current Electric hired the 18 year old, who then helped to install 60 solar panels on Escuela Verde’s roof. Escuela Verde  focuses on sustainability and project-based learning. Fox6Now (Also see February/March 2018 EOW News)
