Governor Brown signed into law a landmark bill committing California to a 100 percent clean electricity goal by 2045. The interim goals are 50 percent by 2025 and 60 percent of electricity from renewable energy by 2030. The Governor issued an executive order as well establishing a target of 2045 for carbon neutrality.
