Calumet County became the 33rd county to adopt a PACE ordinance that will help their commercial sector obtain low-cost, long term loans for energy efficiency, water conservation and renewable energy projects. The Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Wisconsin program is uniform across the state, thanks to the Wisconsin Counties Association and League of Municipalities, making it simple and cost effective for local governments to participate.
Projects are moving through the PACE pipeline with the PACE Commission most recently approving new projects in Kenosha and Waukesha Counties. These projects will help businesses operate more efficiently and save money, while attracting and growing Wisconsin clean energy businesses.
