Organic Valley Increasing WI Solar by 33 Percent

Organic Valley, America’s largest cooperative of organic farmers, announced that its 31MW project portfolio will generate 100 percent renewable energy for its cooperative plus solar energy for rural communities in the community solar partnership. The Wisconsin solar systems in Arcadia, Cashton, La Farge, Merrillan, and Viola will increase the state’s solar capacity by 33 percent benefiting nearly ten thousand rural residents with low, stable electricity rates and clean energy. These projects resulted from a unique collaboration between Organic Valley, OneEnergy Renewables – a developer of community and utility-scale solar, and the participating communities. Organic Valley.
