Dan Ebert Is M-WERC’s New Executive Director

Dan Ebert, former chair of the Wisconsin Public Service Commission and Senior VP of Government Affairs for WPPI Energy, has become Executive Director of the Midwest-Energy Research Consortium (M-WERC). Ebert brings over 25 year of experience in utility, management, and regulatory and policy development experience to the role.

Alan Perlstein will remain CEO through June of 2019. M-WERC conducts transformative energy related seed research and supports policy in energy, power, and controls industries. It has workgroups that address industrial energy efficiency, construction & engineering, distributed energy/energy storage, smart cities technologies, energy water nexus, and policy. M-WERC is a collaborative effort of universities and industrial companies with offices in Milwaukee and Madison.
