Sono Motors released an updated model of the Sion, an electric car partially powered by integrated solar panels. The Sion can travel 155 miles on a full charge, and the solar panels could add up to 20 miles to that range (under ideal conditions). While the car costs $18,000, it requires a 35 kWh battery pack for an additional $11,000.
