North Wind Renewable Energy Cooperative installs a 105 kW solar array in June 2019 on the City of Beaver Dam’s police department/municipal court building. The array will save the City $800,000 over the next 25 years and produce 37 MWh of electricity annually, offsetting approximately 45 percent of the building’s electric load. The $220,000 solar project is being financed entirely by the Couillard Solar Foundation.
