Helios Solar Works was a Milwaukee-based company that manufactured high-performance mono-crystalline solar modules for solar electric systems. High-quality components and an advanced, automated manufacturing platform created modules that delivered higher efficiency, lower installation costs, and a smaller system footprint. Helios offered DC modules as well as “SolSimple”, an AC module. They employed 36 people, mostly veterans. These photos show aspects of Helios’ manufacturing process.
Unfortunately, Helios closed the doors of their Menominee Valley plant in 2013.
