NeighborWorks, a nonprofit that creates affordable housing by revitalizing buildings in Green Bay, WI, worked with Arch Electric to install and fund a 64.8 kW solar PV system on their downtown office building, October 2019. The system offsets approximately 63 percent of the building’s annual electric use. With nearly $60,000 in grant funding between Focus on Energy and RENEW’s Solar Food Good grant, total project costs were reduced by 40 percent. Additionally, NeighborWorks saves an average of $7,000 annually on electricity cost.
