PACE Wisconsin Impacts Commercial Energy Efficiency and Property Values

Creating jobs, increasing property values and improving sustainability in communities across the state are impacts of PACE Wisconsin reported from an assessment of the program since its inception two years ago. The 2019 PACE Wisconsin Impact Report shows that C-PACE financing is now available in 45 Wisconsin counties, representing over 80% of the state’s population. PACE Wisconsin has closed 27 projects worth $32 million since the program started.

Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) is an innovative way to finance energy efficiency and renewable energy upgrades to commercial buildings. It eliminates upfront costs by providing low-cost, long-term financing and makes it easy for building owners to transfer repayment obligations to a new owner upon sale. Commercial property owners or their representatives can learn more about the program at upcoming PACE WI workshops listed under events.
