The vacancy at the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin was just filled by Governor Evers with the appointment of Tyler Huebner, executive director of RENEW Wisconsin. Tyler, an electrical engineer, worked at the Wisconsin Division of Energy services at DOA prior to heading RENEW in 2013. This is the Governor’s second appointment to the three-person commission. Evers appointed Rebecca Valcq, the chair, in January 2019.
The vacancy was created by the resignation of utility regulator Mike Huebsch a year before his term was up. Huebsch, former speaker of the state Assembly, was appointed to a 6-year term by Governor Walker. Tyler will fill out the remainder of Huebsch’s term through March 1, 2021. WSJ, WSJ
