The Keep Wisconsin Warm/Cool Fund is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to bringing programs and benefits to low- and fixed-income families struggling to pay their heating and cooling bills. Founded in 1996, they work in close collaboration with the Wisconsin Division of Energy, Housing and Community Resources (DEHCR). The Keep Wisconsin Warm/Cool Fund leverages funding from private donors and businesses and matches donations two to one. Their Heat for Heroes program gives assistance to Wisconsin’s veterans in need, providing a critical safety survival net to help them avoid choosing between eating and heating their homes.
