A new certification for net zero energy buildings that is based on documented performance has been launched by the International Living Future Institute (ILFI) and the New Buildings Institute (NBI). ILFI had a net zero energy certification as part of its Living Building Challenge that it will continue to administer in a modified form with the energy performance data to be audited by NBI.
