The Midwest Renewable Energy Association has begun advising ten Wisconsin communities pursuing SolSmart designation in 2019: Cities of La Crosse, Racine, Sheboygan, Stevens Point, Wauwatosa, and Portage County, as well as the Villages of Amherst, Egg Harbor, and Plover.
