Darlington Middle School Breezy Bees is an all girls team of 7th and 8th graders that competed at the UW-Madison Wisconsin Energy Institute March 30th, 2019 (see EnergyOnWI March 2019 News Article). Erica Meylor, Aubrey McCarthy, Elyza Johnson, Ashley Wick make up one of two teams, both from Darlington, that won the state competition to participate in the National Finals in Texas, May 25.
For schools that want to participate next year, Dick Anderson (richard640@centurytel.net) provides teacher training and hands-on workshops and can set a team up with an initial set of supplies.
