US DOE’s Better Buildings program created building resilience resources and tools under Efficiency-Resilience Nexus. The resources are intended to help organizations across different sectors take steps to build resilience and increase their ability to bounce back from natural disasters and other stressors. These resources can be used to minimize vulnerabilities to climate-related impacts through resilience planning, implementing new energy technologies, and decreasing energy demand in facilities. Also, they are important when making energy and building infrastructure investments. A conference on the topic, Better Buildings Better Plants Summit will be held May 17-20, 2021. See events
