Sheboygan Senior Community 200kW Solar Project Underway

Sheboygan Senior Community (SSC) broke ground October 14th on their 38 acre campus for a 200kW solar project. The 448 bifacial solar panels will provide an estimated 28 percent of the campus electricity use and should save SSC more than $35,000 annually on electric bills.

Arch Electric of Plymouth, WI is the solar installer and Legacy Solar Co-op coordinated the project and brought a tax sponsor to offset capital costs after grants. The WI Office of Energy Innovation provided $242,600 in grants, with an additional $25,000 from Solar for Good in a donation of solar panels. sheboygansun, legacysolar
