Barron, Price, and Rock Counties joined the Wisconsin Property Assessed Clean Energy program (PACE) bringing the total number of counties participating statewide to 45. PACE helps commercial, industrial, and non-profit property owner’s access affordable, long-term financing for energy efficiency, renewable energy and water conservation improvements to their buildings.
With much of the state’s population covered by PACE, projects are in the pipeline. To date, 23 projects have been approved with more than $27.3 million in total project costs funded. PACE financing for these projects ranges from $210,000 to $2.3 million.
