St. Croix Electric Cooperative’s 103 kW community solar garden became operational in July 2014. Called Sunflower 1, the solar PV array is expected to produce enough electricity annually to power 13 homes. Wisconsin’s second community solar project has one hundred and twenty co-op member subscribers.
