Eleva-Strum School District Adds Solar

The Eleva-Strum School District that serves Eau Claire and Trempealeau Counties celebrated the installation of their ground mount solar panels July 17th. This project will produce 20% of their energy and be a ‘living laboratory’ to incorporate into their curriculum as Superintendent Cory Kulig stated to showcase the district’s innovation. The return on investment is only 8 years with energy savings for 20 years beyond that. They thank the Couillard Solar Foundation for the Solar on Schools Grant that helped make this project happen.
